Criteria

To be considered for Europe’s 500 Listing companies must match the following criteria:

Independence
The Company is not part (subsidiary) of another Group that owns an equity share of more than 50% of the company.

Employment Growth
Company must demonstrate a combined positive employee creation over the three consecutive years prior to the year in which is applying to Eruope's 500 Ranking.

Therefore, if applying for 2015 listing, the company must have created jobs when adding 2014, 2013, and 2012, either by internal or external growth.

Turnover Growth

Company must demonstrate a positive EBIT over the three consecutive years prior to the year in which is applying to Europe's 500 Ranking.

Therefore, if applying for 2015 listing, the company must have positive EBIT in 2014,2013, and 2012.

Size
The company must have a minimum of 50 employees the first year that is accounted for.

Therefore, if applying for 2015 listing, the company must have had 50 or mor employees in 2012.

Age
Companies must have been founded at least five years prior to application date.
